Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor
Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor visually indicates the level of germicidal ultraviolet energy that penetrates the quartz sleeve and the water within the disinfection chamber. The Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor is capable of operating an optional Audio Alarm and Solenoid Valve.
• The Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor will detect reduction of ultraviolet levels due to: 1. Fouling or deposits on quartz sleeve. 2. Poor ultraviolet transmission through the water. (Color, Turbidity, organic or other impurities in the water can reduce or interfere with the transmission of ultraviolet rays.) 3. Depreciation of lamps output due to usage or other cause. (Lamp output gradually depreciates with use - lamp replacement is recommended once each year.)
• In addition, the Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor will detect loss of ultraviolet due to lamp outage, component or power failure. Use of the Ultraviolet Monitor is recommended by the U.S. Public Health Service "Criteria for the Acceptability of an Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit".

Steralert Lamp Status Alarm

Sentry Safety Sensor
Sentry Safety Sensor's pilot lamps provide constant visual monitoring of normal operation. In the event of power or lamp failure, the Sentry  Safety Sensor indicates an alarm condition. This sensor can operate an optional Solenoid Valve which stops water flow and can sound an optional Audio Alarm whenever an abnormal condition is detected. For use with all Minipure and Mighty-Pure Ultraviolet Water Purifiers and Sanitron units (up to 20  gpm).

Audio Alarm

Audio Alarm is activated by the Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor or Sentry  Safety Sensor, and  alerts the user to any malfunction detected. Time Delay Mechanism
Time Delay Mechanism provides a two minute warm-up period during which the ultraviolet lamp achieves full germicidal output before the water is allowed to flow through the ultraviolet water purifier. The Time Delay Mechanism is used in conjunction with, and is electrically connected to,  the Solenoid Valve.

Non-Resettable Elapsed Time Indicator

Flow Control Valve
Flow Control Valve limits water flow to the rated capacity through the ultraviolet water purifier. For example, if your water purifier has a maximum rated flow of 12 gallons per minute, a 12 gpm flow control valve installed in the water line before the purifier will automatically prevent the water flow from exceeding that rate. Use of the Flow Control Valve  is recommended by the U.S. Public Health Service "Criteria for the Acceptability of an Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit". For use with all Sanitron and Mighty-Pure and Minipure Ultraviolet Water Purifiers in brass, PVC or Stainless Steel.

Solenoid Valves
Solenoid Valves are operated in conjunction with the 
Guardian Ultraviolet Monitor or Sentry Safety Sensor. These valves prevent water flow through the ultraviolet water purifier whenever an abnormal condition is detected and in the event of power failure. Use of the Solenoid Valve is recommended by the U.S. Public Health Service "Criteria for the Acceptability of an Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit". For use with all Sanitron  and Mighty-Pure Ultraviolet Water Purifiers that utilize the Guardian  Ultraviolet Monitor. Can also be employed by Sanitron , Mighty-Pure  and Minipure  units in conjunction with the Sentry  Safety Sensors. Available in 118v / 50 or 60 Hz or 220v / 50 or 60 Hz.
